My kitchenaid dishwasher touch pad suddenly stopped responding to input. I was able to confirm that it was likely the touchpad that was at fault and not the computer main board by disconnecting the touchpad and closing the dishwasher. With no power from the touchpad, the drain pump should come on when the door is closed. With that confirmed, I ordered this replacement touch pad. It installed fairly easily and the dishwasher is back to running as it was before. Saved a bunch of money over both getting a technician out to diagnose and replace and/or getting a new dishwasher.
